Logitech HD Webcam C310

I live several hours away from my parents and gave this to my mom for Mother's Day to help us keep in touch, which is especially important with a new granddaughter on the way. She uses a Mac Mini running OS X 10.6. It perches nicely on top of her LCD monitor. This camera truly is plug and play, and works great with Skype and Apple's Face Time application. I can't compare the video quality with other webcams, but we have no complaints about the quality of this one.

I admit--I'm not super technically inclined, but I'm fairly young (26) so fairly familiar with the basic ins and outs of how things like this work. That being said--it's SUPER easy. I plugged it in and downloaded Skype, including those two steps, I was up and running in under 10 minutes. The picture is good, and according to the folks on the other end, the sound is good too. I was a little concerned about how well it would stay sitting on the top of my laptop screen--and it settles in and stays without any trouble at all. I also like how small and compact it is. All in all, I think it was worth every penny.
